No matter which faction you play in World of Warcraft, leveling your character can go one of two ways, you can slowly grind your way along one level at a time until you give up in frustration or you can follow a few good Horde leveling tips and learn how to power your way through the levels to the top. None of these tips are big secrets, most of them are just basic common sense, but when followed will speed up the leveling process significantly.
Since you can't spec your new toon until you reach level 10 this is the perfect time to get comfortable with it. You should never spend more than a few short hours reaching level 10, but use every minute to learn what your toon can and cannot do. This includes basic moves, spells or shots. At 10 you will need to start specing using the talent tree. Since the bulk of your leveling involves PvE, you should be looking at the spec that will set you up to do maximum damage, you can always respec later.
Think of it this way, if you could set your specs up to allow you to kill 2 or 3 mobs at a time instead of 1, you would be cutting the amount of time it takes to finish quests in half or more. With a little practice and the right gear you can do this all the way up to level 85. Time is never your friend when leveling, you need to get through each set of quests as quickly as possible in order to level up and move on. Fast kills are only the beginning, but it is a good start.
Group your quests as you go, when you move to anew zone grab all of the quests available. Then take time to look them over and review the map. You will find that you can do several at the same time in certain areas. This same theory applies to follow up quests. Always check them to see if you can do them in conjunction with quests you already have. There are guides that can tell you which quests can be done together that can help to speed up the process massively.
One thing that most players do not realize or think about is how much faster they would level by themselves. Rather than worrying about group quests, do only those that you can do solo. This way you get 100% of the XP for every mob and will be moving along towards 85 at break neck pace.
Dan has leveled at breakneck speed with almost every race in the game. Learn how he does it and much more by visiting www.WarcraftBlueprint.com.
