Farmville Secrets: The Best Farmville Help Guide Around?

Over the past few months, I’ve found myself drawn into Farmville. It started as an idle pass time – something to do while I waited for something better to happen. These days, however, I find that I really do care what happens to my crops. I want to ribbons – bad, and I can tell you which crops to plant when, and why.

Most of that is hard won, hard earned knowledge, but I have to admit that I’ve looked at a few Farmville help guides since I started to really get into the game. In the interests of helping new players to choose the best Farmville help guide around, I’ve taken a look at several, and so far, I have to say that Farmville Secrets is the most comprehensive, and the best one I’ve found. Here’s why.

An Up to Date Guide

Since I started playing Farmville, I’ve looked at several Farmville help guides. The problem I’ve found with many is that they haven’t been kept up to date. New features, crops and animals don’t feature in them, and if you’re new to the game, it’s really confusing to figure out what’s really going on. Farmville Secrets is an up to date Farmville help guide, so it makes it easy for even the newest of newbies to figure out what the best strategy is.

Easy to Follow

Another critical factor that I believe makes Farmville Secrets one of the best Farmville help guides out there is that it’s easy to follow. Not only is it written in easy to understand language, but there are screenshots and graphics to help you understand what you need to do. It’s user friendly, and that’s important – after all – a guide that takes a degree to figure out isn’t much good to anyone!

It’s Written By an Actual Player

Too often, Farmville help guides seem to be written by someone who understands the theory behind the game, but has no practical experience of how it works. I found that because Farmville Secrets is written by someone who really plays the game, it’s easy to understand what is going on. You get the feeling that this is a Farmville help guide that’s based on practical experience, rather than official documents, and it’s like having a personal tutor, more than having a dry, technical guide.

For Serious Players

Some people I know who play Farmville do it purely for the fun of it. Others are serious players, who want to challenge themselves to be the best – or at least to see how near they can get.

The first type of player probably won’t find a Farmville help guide like Farmville Secrets necessary. But if you, like me, fall into the second category, and like to win, then it’s definitely something you should consider. Without this guide I would have been stuck in the lower levels of the game for a lot longer than I was, and I can honestly say that any success I have achieved in the game (and I’m pretty darn good if I do say so myself) is largely attributable to this Farmville help guide.

Farmville Seeds Strategy: Plant Your Way to Success!

With tens of millions of players, competing in Farmville means you need to get your strategies in order. One of the fundamental skills you need to learn, is using seeds correctly. Farmville seeds strategy is all about weighing up how much you stand to gain by planting a certain crop seed, against the time it takes to grow the crop, and how much the seeds cost to begin with

Simply choosing seeds based on the speed at which they grow is bad strategy. Firstly, you need to consider how often you can log into your Facebook account to access your Farmville application. It is pointless planting crops that take two hours to grow, when you only get around to harvesting them by the time they are withered and wasted away to nothing. Plan your crops based primarily on your log-in schedule. If your schedule is pretty erratic, rather concentrate on trees and animals. These do not require as much attention as crops do, and can still make money if neglected for a long period of time. Trees will just lose the fruit, but can still make you money when the next batch of fruit ripens.

When your farm gets quite large – after level 20, consider using tractors and seeders to get your planting done. With a 25 percent time saving, this can make a huge difference on a big farm. Obviously, it is not really worth the expense on a small farm. All seeds have a seemingly complicated relationship with XP, cost and time ratios. The ratios have very little bearing on each other, and are specifically made to be treated as 'trade-offs'.  You need to build these trade-offs into your Farmville seeds strategy. There is no such thing as the 'ultimate seed'. Your best coin earning crop will change, as you level up and gain access to more crops. The seeds you plant will either earn you a lot of XP and little cash, or lots of cash while bringing in less XP. Some crops will offer medium returns on both XP and cash, but will probably cost more than others on average, or will need a longer growing time.

One way to simplify your Farmville seeds strategy, is to work out the value of the crop you are planting, in terms of either coins earned per hour, or XP earned per hour. Using this method, you can form tables to sort out the seeds into the top 5 earners in each category for your relevant level. Make sure you adjust your list to keep it current, since circumstances change as you level up. Bear in mind that it is best to compile your own lists, since the game does get updated and the prices and values of seeds and crops can change over time.

Best Farmville Strategy: Top Tips

If you’re one of the millions of people around the world who have rediscovered the joy of farming thanks to the addictive Facebook game, Farmville, then you might be wondering what the best Farmville strategy is.

It takes time to figure out how the game works, and what works for you, and what doesn’t, and if you’re like me, and you don’t like waiting, and love to win, then it can be frustrating! Fortunately, I’ve decided to share my best Farmville strategy tips for the beginner with you:

  • Berry crops mature fast, and earn a reasonable amount of money. For instance, raspberries mature in just two hours, and earn you 46 coins, while strawberries mature in four hours, and yield 35 coins. Since the best Farmville strategy for the beginner is to make as many coins as possible, as quickly as possible, it pays to plant as many berries as you can.
  • Many beginners make the mistake of buying farm animals too early on in the game. This is not the best Farmville strategy decision, as animals don’t earn much, and when you’re starting out, you need to make money fast. On the up side, when you have an established farm, animals can be a great addition, because they don’t need as much care as crops – but if you’re starting out, rather leave then alone for now!
  • Trees also take a long time to mature – some as long as five days! While they won’t wilt, and they’re not as much effort as berry and other crops, they don’t earn you quick money. As I’ve said before, the best strategy for the new Farmville player is to make as much money as possible, as fast as possible, so if you’re starting out, stay away from trees!
  • Another great Farmville strategy for the new player is to spend time helping out your neighbors. This will earn you a few extra coins, and give you experience, both of which you need to advance in the game.
  • Add neighbors as quickly as you can. The more neighbors you have, the faster you will be eligible to move onto a bigger farm. Since more land means more money, this is an important part of the best Farmville strategy. Remember that you will need eight neighbors to move to a 14 x 14 lot, and 10 to get a 16 x 16 lot, so look for friends that are playing the game, and add them!
  • If any of your friends have recently won ribbons, you can get coins from them for free – free money is a big part of the best Farmville strategy, so make sure you check your home page for updates regularly.
  • Last but not least, the best Farmville strategy for buildings – avoid them when you’re starting out! They look pretty, and help you level up faster, but the don’t give you any profits, and since the beginning of the game is all about money, you can save that for later!
These are just a few things I’ve picked up from playing the game. You’re sure to come up with your own best Farmville strategy ideas, the more you play. So for now, one of the best things you can do is play as often as you can.

Farmville: Help Your Neighbor and Score!

Have you just started playing Farmville, and you are wondering if there are any easy ways to get ahead in the game? I was particularly surprised to discover that in Farmville, help your neighbor is not just a nice saying – it’s a good way to get some great benefits.

Farmville: Help Your Neighbors and Grow Your Farm

You may not know this if you’re new to the game, but when it comes to upgrading your farm in Farmville, having neighbors is critical. Without a predetermined number of neighbors, you simply cannot get a bigger lot, and your game will stagnate. Proof that the old saying ‘no man is an island’ still holds true today. The more neighbors you can accumulate, the bigger a lot you qualify for, and if you want to be a top farmer, you need plenty of land to do it.

Farmville: Help Your Neighbors By Giving Gifts

Another great way to get ahead in Farmville while helping your neighbors is to give and receive gifts. These could be crops or animals, and a few other things, but the best part is that in most cases, your neighbors will reciprocate, and you’ll get gifts in return. Everyone loves free stuff, and in a game like Farmville where coins are a precious commodity, that’s even more true. Another reason to give (and hopefully receive) gifts in Farmville is that there are plenty of items that cannot be obtained any other way. So if you want certain animals, for instance, you need to get someone you know to gift them to you.

Farmville: Help Your Neighbors and Get Coins and Experience

Anyone who’s been playing Farmville for any length of time will know that coins and experience are two of the most important things you need in the game. When you help a neighbor with their farm, you’ll get both. So you get to do something nice for your neighbors, and you get rewarded for it too!

Farmville: Help Your Neighbors By Farming Co-operatively

As Farmville has evolved, it’s become more and more realistic, and these days, it’s possible to farm co-operatively with your neighbors. That means that you and a group of friends get to work on a project together, and earn coins and experience for it. That’s the great thing about Farmville and other social network games out there – you get to interact with your friends while you’re playing.

As you can see, when it comes to Farmville, help your neighbor out, and you will score. Whether it’s experience, coins, or gifts that you’re getting, there’s always a reward for being nice to your friends in the game. Add to that the fact that it’s fun, and lets you interact with your friends – whether they’re in the ‘real world’ or just online, and you have a definite list of reasons to be a good neighbor.

Farmville: Help On a Job: How to Get It

If you’re like me (and millions of other people around the world) then there’s a good chance that you’ve become addicted to Farmville on facebook. Of course, if you’re new to Farmville, help on a job may be something that you’re desperately looking for.

If it’s Farmville help on a job that you’re looking for, then read on for some more information on where to find it when you need it. There are several options for Farmville help on a job, and some are better than others.

Ask Your Friends

If you already have friends who are playing Farmville, then they may be a source of information for you, for Farmville help on a job. This is especially true if they’ve been playing the game for some time, and have reached an advanced level.

Look on Chat Sites and Forums

There are chat sites and forums all over the internet that offer Farmville help on a job – if you’re a member. Be warned however that not everyone is willing to give you advice or Farmville help on a job, and that you might find that you get lots of conflicting information on what you are supposed to do. It can be tricky, if you’re just getting started in the game, to decide which of the Farmville help on a job advice you get is worthwhile, and which isn’t, and you might find yourself having a few false starts along the way.

Read Articles

Another popular way to get Farmville help on a job is to read articles, like this one, that describe how to do things in the game. The trouble is, again, that there are plenty of articles and blogs that have conflicting advice and information, and it can be hard to find an article that really addresses what you need to know.

Buy a Guide

I hate spending money on anything online. However, when I was looking for Farmville help on a job online, and couldn’t find what I needed, I decided that desperate times call for desperate measures, and I bought the Farmville Secrets guide. Unlike all the other ways I’ve mentioned to get Farmville help on a job, this means no conflicting information, and no difficulty in figuring out what to do. It’s all set out in a straightforward and easy to follow manner, and you just follow the tips, and you get what you want.

So, as you can see, when you’re looking for Farmville help on a job, there are several routes you can choose. You could go the free but frustrating route of looking for the information online, or you could take the easy option and buy a great guide. Either way, I hope you find the information you need sooner rather than later, and that you’re having as much fun playing Farmville as I am.

A Short Farmville Flowers Guide

If you’re one of the many new players of facebook’s Farmville, and you’re wondering what the heck flowers can do for you in the game, then read on! I’ve put together a short Farmville flowers guide that should help you to decide whether it’s worth your while to plant flowers, and if you do, when and how to do it.

  • Flowers are a cash crop – so like most other crops in Farmville, you can make money off your flower crops when you harvest them and sell them at the market.
  • Sunflowers and Red tulips are two of the best flowers to grow. They both take 23 hours to grow, and will get you 315 and 159 coins respectively. They also both earn you 2 XP – which, for the purpose of this Farmville flowers guide, is what any flower crop will get you.
  • Lilies are another of the best crops, taking only 23 hours to grow, and netting you 369 coins, and the same 2XP as other flowers when you harvest and sell them.
  • Lavender is the highest earning flower, bringing you 384 coins when you sell them, but like Pink Roses, which earn 254 coins, they take a whopping 46 hours to grow. Definitely NOT a quick cash generating crop!
  • Daffodils are a relatively easy flower to grow, and they earn 135 coins when you sell them, but since they also take 46 hours to grow, they’re also not a big money spinner. In fact, if I had to give my honest opinion in this Farmville flowers guide, I wouldn’t waste my time on them!
  • As with any of the crops that take longer to grow and harvest, the number one rule of the Farmville flowers guide is not to start planting them until you’ve made enough money off quick money earners like berries and vegetable crops. They might make you a lot of money when you do eventually sell them, but the wait can be excruciating if you’re just starting out!
  • Make sure that you remember when your flower crops are ready to harvest, so that you can get them to the market, and make your money back on them.
  • Another great tip for my Farmville flowers guide is to alternate crops that grow quickly with flowers that take longer to grow. That way, you’ll have bursts of quick cash in small amounts, in between the long periods that it takes to get your money back off a flower crop.
If you’ve been wondering about flowers, then I hope this Farmville flowers guide has helped, and that you’ve decided whether they’re a viable money spinner for your farm. Remember – as long as you have a decent stash of coins built up, it’s okay to experiment with new crops – after all – that’s how you learn to play the game!

Find Out How to get More Cash in Farmville

If you want to know how to get more cash in Farmville, you should first invest time in leveling up properly. Getting to at least level 20 is essential, before you start your quest to gain vast amounts of cash. The early stages of the game ought to be spent gaining XP, so that you can level up quickly in Farmville. Once you have attained sufficient XP and and a good level, you can start concentrating on growing crops that yield more money, instead of XP.

Farmville always woks on a trade-off when it comes to growing crops. Some crops are really cheap, yield good profits, but offer little or no XP in return. These are the ones you should concentrate on. Beware of planting crops that appear to be good deals. There might be hidden costs in terms of effort and time needed to grow them. Some trees yield better than crops do, this is useful in the early stages of the game where space is limited. If you plant your trees too close together, you may have trouble seeing when the fruit is ripe and ready for picking.

Good strategies for visibility play a big part in how to get more cash in Farmville. Take note of how trees and crops are rendered in the game, as well as animals. Position trees behind crops and animals, so that your view of the shorter items is not obscured by trees. To make the small spaces on your farm generate income, position a row of animals in front of a row of trees, so that you can see the fruit: this more effective than planting two rows of trees.

Try to keep a balance between crops, animals and trees. If you fail to log in to Farmville for a while longer than usual, your crops can easily whither and die, whereas your trees and animals will be fine, you only lose out on harvesting fruit from the trees. Treat your trees and livestock as insurance against crop failure. If you lose your crops, you can easily sell livestock and trees to recuperate your losses and buy more seeds for crops. Crops whither in the same proportionate time as they take to mature. For example: a crop of raspberries takes two hours to mature and two hours to go to waste after that time; watermelons take four days to ripen and will waste away completely after eight days from planting.

Knowing how to get more cash in Farmville is vital to ensuring successful gameplay. Remember that even when you are forced to sell things like livestock and trees, the cash you lose form your initial investment, is not altogether wasted, since you gain XP from selling stuff in Farmville.
