Cataclysm Battleground Changes

From the first time Blizzard introduced battlegrounds for PvP action to the game; they have brought a new and fun dimension to the game. For many, the PvE side of the game is only there to level up with and reach the new battlegrounds, and make the gold needed to pay for new gear while waiting to earn the badges needed to buy the latest Tier gear. As with each previous expansion pack, there have been a few battleground changes in Cataclysm intended specifically to keep the fun rolling.

For those of us that have been around since the early days, we remember how hard we had to work to earn our PvP ranks. It took many hours of ganking the other guys to go from Private to one of the many Officer ranks and only a few managed to reach Field Marshal. Then came Wrath and away went the PvP ranks we worked so hard to earn. Fortunately one of the Cataclysm battleground changes is the return of the BG Title system. Finally we will once again be able to show everyone just how hard we have been working in the battlegrounds.

By far the biggest change that is being made to the battlegrounds in Cataclysm is the introduction of Ranked Battlegrounds. You will be able to form raid groups before entering the BG and your group will be matched against an opposing team that has a similar rating. Every week the format for the battlegrounds is going to change, one week will be 10 man, then 15 followed by 25 man. You will be awarded Conquest Points for wins which can be traded in for gear.

There are two new battlegrounds in Cataclysm, Twin Peaks and Gilneas at the moment, and more to come. As with every season there will be special rewards for the teams including Honor titles. Those teams that reach the equivalent of "Gladiator" status are also going to be rewarded with special epic ground mounts that you will be able to show off especially when you ride out into your first BG when the next season starts.

One final change to battlegrounds in Cataclysm is in the way that they are clustered. Now instead of being limited to servers in a particular battlegroup the way they were in Wrath, those who you are fighting against players from anywhere in your region. In other words, if you are in North America, you will be queuing up with others from anywhere on the North American continent. This applies to all regions and should reduce your wait times.

Not sure you’re ready to jump into the battlegrounds and play each of them with the kind of dedication needed to be a serious PvPer in World of Warcraft? Visit www.PvPBible.com for details on how to make the leap.

Cataclysm Leveling Strategies

As with each of the previous expansion packs there are different leveling strategies in Cataclysm. One of the most popular strategies is to pay very close attention to the way the different groups of quests are put together; you will find that you can accept several quests that are all done in a particular area. Rather than going out and completing one or two at a time which is a very slow way to go about leveling, complete as many as you can in a given area and then go turn them in.

You may have to make a couple of side trips along the way to grab the next stage quests, but Blizzard has conveniently placed many of the quest chains on top of each other to make it much faster and easier to level up without having to run all over the place. You should complete all of the quests in one zone before moving on. Be aware that as you level you may have to go back to an area that you were working in earlier. If a particular quest takes you way out of your way, leave it for later as you will probably be going out there to complete more quests as you go through the different quest chains.

If this sounds like too much work, you can always sit in one area and farm mobs that are at or just above your level. Known as grinding, this has always worked in each of the expansion packs and is one of the different Cataclysm leveling strategies. It is however a much slower way to level, the one thing you will get is plenty of drops that you can sell for gold along the way.

A good blend of questing and running the new dungeons such as Blackrock Caverns is considered to be the fastest way to level your character. Dungeons reward you with much higher XP rewards and taking out the bosses not only rewards you with maximum XP, but you will be able to start gearing up and earning the gold you are going to need when you go visit your trainers.

One last tip, you need to use your map for questing. Blizzard took Quest Helper's good idea and built it in several patches ago, now you can see where each of your quests is located allowing you to group them together for faster completion. You might be surprised at how fast your XP bar is going to move when you turn in a dozen or more quests at a time.

Leveling is not a quick process. It takes time and care to the little things. Learn how Dan has taken advantage of hot changes in Blizzard’s interface and dozens of little tweaks to reach the cap at record speed – visit www.WarcraftBlueprint.com for more details.

Discipline Priest PvP in Cataclysm

As the changes for Cataclysm have already taken place you have by now respeced your Discipline Priest using the new talent trees and noticed that you have lost some abilities such as Power Infusion and gained others. The big question is whether or not your Discipline Priest is going to still hold his own in PvP. Unless you have already had a chance to do some serious PvP; the answers may still need to be decided when you get a chance to get into battle.

If you look at the abilities you are used to having for offensive firepower like Borrowed Time and Pain Suppression, you will see that they are still here. Most of your offensive firepower is intact, but you will find that you no longer have the variety of defensive PvP talents you have gotten used to. Instead of the big variety you are now down to one self defense talent called Focused Will for use in PvP. Your options as a Priest tank are gone and in their place heal buffs that while they don't do any damage might keep you alive if you keep casting them on yourself.

The Discipline PvP Priest in Cataclysm has taken yet another major hit as Renewed Hope has been removed in favor of a single target buff that is similar to Grace and will only work on the targets you cast heals on.  To add insult to injury they have changed Rapture and now a Discipline Priest will no longer be able to channel energy to their party member who have been shielded once Power Word: Shield breaks.

None of these changes have helped the Discipline Priest in any way when it comes to PvP. You can't help but wonder if Blizzard has decided that all Priests should be happy to be healers. Most of the changes in the talent trees and new abilities have been designed to improve overall healing and so many of the damage and defense abilities that used to carry the Disc Priest well in PvP are gone or completely nerfed.

The future of the Discipline Priest may look bleak at the moment, but it is early days yet and we all know that everything is subject to change as more players begin to see that specing in Discipline is not going o top win them any favors when it comes to getting into PvP action.

No matter what type of character you enjoy playing, PvP has been flipped on is head yet again in Cataclysm. Learn how and what you can do to conquer the changes at www.PvPBible.com.

3 Popular Mind-Enhancing Facebook Games

Facebook games have become the avenue of most people to break free from the strenuous jobs they have to face daily whether in the office, at home, and even when doing nothing. Breaks are necessary, to clear mind and be prepared for the next challenges one has to face for the rest of the day or night. It is a good thing that Facebook has all these kinds of games that can help users to achieve stress relief, physically and mentally.

The best thing about Facebook games is that they are no nonsense online games. With the variety the social networking site has to offer, you can find one that is so entertaining and keeping you alert and another that is far from being mindless entertainment. Most of the games provided by the site require exercising your brain to beat high scores, while the others require your good analyzing skills so to keep with the requirements of the game play.

The games that particularly call to use and train your mental skills, such as your intelligence, reaction time, and memory, are some of the most popular because from this obvious characteristic they do provide players with lots of fun. Three of these popular mind games are the following:

Who Has The Biggest Brain

This is one of the Facebook games that assess how much intelligent the player has or how smart he is for the particular field. In this game, there are a few facets that test your knowledge – spatial recognition, number ordering, and math are just some of the levels you are to deal with. In each area, it is necessary to combine correctness and speed, so to acquire highest score possible. This is a good way to challenge friends as well by inviting them to find out if they are smarter than you or vice versa. At the end of the game, this “Who Has The Biggest Brain” game allows you to find out which learning aspect you get the highest score or which type you are best with.

Geo Challenge

“Geo Challenge” is similar to the “Who Has The Biggest Brains” except that it only includes one facet of learning skill to deal with – your ability to match the geographical markers as speedily as you can. For instance, the first round presents a country name with several different flags to find the right one that matches it with; the second level shows country shape with different country names to choose the right one from; and so on, and so forth. In this game, it is obvious that you are being challenged with your intelligence about the geography. Not only that, because what is more important is you are being trained with your reaction time and memory skills.

Word Challenge

In this game, the player is provided with six shuffled letters. The challenge for you is to think of many words as you can get from out of those letters. For each word you typed, there is a corresponding time awarded to your clock based on how much letters you produced it or how long that it was.

Once you came up with a six-letter word, the letters can be replaced with a new set. You finish the game once your time on the clock says you have no more to continue playing. The fun part here is you can challenge your friends to compete with you by targeting the highest score in each week, month, or better yet, an all-time high score.

Word Challenge is one of the most popular word Facebook games and is particularly created to boost the players' vocabulary skills. But more than this, you are challenged with your capability to do the right decisions, whether by forming small or bigger words. Forming small words can earn points but risks more time. Creating longer words, on the other hand, provides high points but risks time as well as needs you to exert more time in figuring out what are they.

Paladin Strategies and Tips for PvP

Far too many players see the Paladin as a weaker warrior and don’t feel like it is really a good class for use in PvP. All they see is players using Ret Spec Paladins spending too much time in melee and fail to see how much more a well played Pally can do in both the Arenas and the battlegrounds. Whether you are speced Holy or Retribution, as long as you have the right gear and can follow a few simple strategies and tips, you will do very well in World of Warcraft PvP.

First let's talk about a few useful tips that apply no matter where you are fighting or what zone you are in including the new BGs in Cataclysm. Get your fingers off the movement keys on your keyboard. If you insist on using your keyboard, you are going to spend a lot of time at the Spirit Healer. Instead you should be using the two buttons on your mouse. This will allow you to move far faster and more fluidly than using the keyboard.

This way you can dodge melee class opponents and avoid the vast majority of their attempts to snare you. Set up macros to switch out your weapons, keep a fast 1 handed weapon and shield on your macro and a heavy cutting 2 hander on another macro. You can use the 2 handed weapon to do the heavy damage and then switch out when your opponent is waiting on his cooldowns to pop. This way you can get inside and finish him off in a hurry using your shield to block his feeble attempts to hit you.

This is not to say that you should not plan to spend a lot of time wielding that massive 2 handed weapon and doing some serious melee damage. Keep those Judgements up at all times and, with the changes in Mana uses and Talents in Cataclysm, you will be able to use your Judgements far more frequently. Since you are going to be taking a fair amount of damage during a fight, make sure you don’t forget to use your heals when you need them. Even a Ret Pally has heals and if you don't remember to use them, you are going to die far too frequently.

One last tip, if at all possible in a melee situation, try and keep your back against a wall or a tree. If you don’t have to worry about who’s got your back or trying to stab you in the back, you can concentrate on killing the guy in front of you.

Dan has dabbled in a bit of everything in World of Warcraft, pushing his way through dozens of different leveling zones with Paladins and beyond. Learn how he prepares for PvP with his Paladin at www.WarcraftPros.com.

New Changes for Death Knights in PvP

With Cataclysm as we have all seen there have been some major changes all the way around and the Death Knight like all classes has definitely been worked over. Not only has their talent tree been completely revamped, but there have been changes to the way that their runes regenerate. In order to be successful DK players are going to have to take a little time to become familiar with the changes including the new procs that are now a part of Runic Empowerment.  Since runes now refresh as a proc, none of your old rotations are of any use.

Bearing this in mind, Death Knights in PvP have a distinct advantage as it is much easier to keep a rune handy for that key ability compared to PvE where your main concern is maximizing every point of DPS you can get your hands on. One thing that has become evident in all classes and particularly in the Death Knight is that with the new talent trees each of the three trees is an entity on its own instead of a slight hybrid of the others.

For Death Knights in PvP, Unholy has long been considered the only way to spec and by rights it is still the better choice, but with the new changes you can play all three with a high level of success. With a range of talents such as Shadow Infusion and Dark Transformation, you can dump plenty of runic power into your Death Coil and let your pet run amok with Dark Transformation for 30 seconds with massively boosted abilities.

Unholy Blight is also going to be a major player as it keeps your diseases from being dispelled while you are keeping your Death Coil powered up. Adding the Glyph of Death Coil to the mix makes you that much more potent and the dirge of the Battlefield. Choose your  talents very carefully as you cannot pick all of the DPS increasing ones, be prepared to give up a little of your DPS to gain extra versatility and you will be surprised at how well you are going to do out on the battlefield. One more thing that these changes are going to accomplish is that you will see tons of Death Knights in PvP playing their own game instead of copying each other; this should make for a lot more unpredictable fun than we have seen for a long time.

It’s no secret – PvP is tough. So, when Dan gets ready to take a new class into the arena or load up on attack strategies, he turns to the PvP Bible – learn more at www.PvPBible.com

Resto Shamans in Cataclysm

An expansion just wouldn't be right if all casters didn't get new spells and there are several new spells for Shamans in Cataclysm. To start with the Shaman has been given three dispels just like all the other healing classes. In particular, the Shammy can dispel both offensive and defensive magic and cures, at the same time they had to give up their dispel for diseases and poisons.  This is just the beginning of the changes for this long time favorite class.

No matter what changes are made to the Shamans in Cataclysm, they are still one of the most versatile characters in the game. With the new healing spell Healing Rains they can heal a targeted group as it’s a Heal over Time that comes at level 83. Healing wave has also been changed to a Greater Healing Wave that is a much stronger direct heal than it has been in the past. Resto Shammys are going to be able to heal toe to toe with Priests in many situations.

This has been coupled with Unleashed Weapons that work in a similar fashion to the Paladin's Judgment. You get to choose from one of three different weapons, Windfury that throws a virtual copy of your weapon at the target, does 50% of your weapon's damage and gives you more haste over your next 5 swings. Flametoungue that hits your opponent instantly with Fire damage and increases the damage of your next Fire Spell by 20% and Earthliving that is used to heal your target  and give your next healing spell a 20% buff.

These new healing buffs are a great addition to the Restoration Shaman's arsenal and will certainly add to his versatility. One thing to keep in mind is that Healing Rains is subject to diminished returns. The more people in the party you cast it on, the less healing effect each will receive.  To sweeten the pot just a little more we have Spiritwalker's Grace which allows you to keep moving or take damage and still keep casting your spells.

Some of the changes have been good, but the one thing you need to know about any Mana using class in Cataclysm is that you are going to have keep a much closer eye on your Mana level as it will go down at a faster rate than you are used from Wrath of the Lich King.

Not sure you’re getting the most out of your Shaman? Check out the guides that make playing any class in World of Warcraft easier – visit www.WarcraftPros.com for more details.

New Abilities for Paladins in Cataclysm

As with all classes, Cataclysm has brought significant changes to Paladins. There are completely new talent trees, new abilities and changes to the mechanics of how you play this character. Stop to consider that Cataclysm is a complete makeover for the game as every aspect is being changed in one way or another. Many of the extras such as Defense, Armor Penetration, Spell Power and Block have been taken away just as fast as they came.

One of the first changes you will notice is that more races can become Paladins, namely Taurens. Despite the changes that are going to restore Warriors to the top of the Tank pecking order, Pally tanks are still going to be very popular. The first thing that you will see is that Pally get three new abilities for crowd control, defense and healing.  At level 81 you have Blinding Shield that is used for crowd control as it is an AoE damage ability that also blinds all enemies within range.

At level 83 you have Healing Hands, this new healing spell is a short range AoE heal that will heal all party members within its radius and allows the Paladin to cast another heal spell while it is still active. Talk about mass heals; this is something that Paladins have been waiting for, for a long time. Finally at level 85 you have Guardian of Ancient Kings; Pallys get a helping hand with this spell. It summons a winged guardian of light that is armed with a massive sword.

If you are a Healadin, your helper will heal the person in your party with the lowest health. For the Retadin, the guardian will do damage to your enemy and finally if you are Prot Pally it will absorb damage for you. This is the ultimate spell as like the other summoned pets it can make a huge difference in long fights, the three minute cooldown may not be a problem if the fight is too long as you can cast it at the start of the fight and again as it cools down.

Each of these new abilities will definitely give the Paladin some serious help in both PvE and PvP scenarios. The most important part is that you need to set up your talent trees very carefully and you are going to have to learn how to play your Paladin again as he is going to be a lot more like he was in Vanilla WoW.

With Cataclysm on the shelves, Dan has been spending hours each week looking into what makes every character hum in the new expansion. Learn what he and thousands of others have discovered at www.CataclysmSecrets.com.

Basic Warlock Raiding Strategies

For those of you who just can't get enough of raiding and live for your "lock", Cataclysm has made a few changes to the way your character is played.  The biggest change and on that is definitely going to affect your Warlock raiding strategies is there is no longer a need for you to spend time farming for Soul Shards before you head out for a long night of raiding. Soul Shards are now a resource in much the same way as your health and mana; in fact you can see the resource bar in the same area on your screen.

Like any toon, the most important part of Warlock raiding strategies is choosing the right talent tree. With dual spec you can switch between your two favorites on the fly, which makes it much easier to set yourself up as Affliction for raiding. Even with the changes that have been made your best bet is still to run Affliction for raids due to the intense levels of Damage over Time that you can do. Since you really do not have anything in your arsenal for burst damage, why would you as your main role is ranged DPS, you need to set your spell rotation up very carefully.

The first spell in your rotation should always be Haunt as soon as it is off cooldown, as it increases the amount of damage done by every DoT you cast by 20%. It will also proc Shadow Embrace occasionally which increases your Shadow DoT by another 5% and stacks 3 times. Next on your rotation needs to be Corruption, as this is your most damaging spell and it regenerates health. Going down the line, Unstable Affliction is the next highest damaging spell. Finally throw in Curse of Agony, although it does the least amount of damage, it all adds up and when you fire off Shadow Bolts every chance you get your target won't stand a chance.

While the order of spells is only a small part of the Warlock raiding strategies, it is probably the most important part and one that you need to spend a little time practicing. You can use the target dummies in the major cities to get your timing down so that all of the spells stay up until your victim hits the ground. Gear up and get your spell rotation down to a split second science and you will become a very successful Affliction Warlock.

Farmville Seeds Strategy: Plant Your Way to Success!

With tens of millions of players, competing in Farmville means you need to get your strategies in order. One of the fundamental skills you need to learn, is using seeds correctly. Farmville seeds strategy is all about weighing up how much you stand to gain by planting a certain crop seed, against the time it takes to grow the crop, and how much the seeds cost to begin with

Simply choosing seeds based on the speed at which they grow is bad strategy. Firstly, you need to consider how often you can log into your Facebook account to access your Farmville application. It is pointless planting crops that take two hours to grow, when you only get around to harvesting them by the time they are withered and wasted away to nothing. Plan your crops based primarily on your log-in schedule. If your schedule is pretty erratic, rather concentrate on trees and animals. These do not require as much attention as crops do, and can still make money if neglected for a long period of time. Trees will just lose the fruit, but can still make you money when the next batch of fruit ripens.

When your farm gets quite large – after level 20, consider using tractors and seeders to get your planting done. With a 25 percent time saving, this can make a huge difference on a big farm. Obviously, it is not really worth the expense on a small farm. All seeds have a seemingly complicated relationship with XP, cost and time ratios. The ratios have very little bearing on each other, and are specifically made to be treated as 'trade-offs'.  You need to build these trade-offs into your Farmville seeds strategy. There is no such thing as the 'ultimate seed'. Your best coin earning crop will change, as you level up and gain access to more crops. The seeds you plant will either earn you a lot of XP and little cash, or lots of cash while bringing in less XP. Some crops will offer medium returns on both XP and cash, but will probably cost more than others on average, or will need a longer growing time.

One way to simplify your Farmville seeds strategy, is to work out the value of the crop you are planting, in terms of either coins earned per hour, or XP earned per hour. Using this method, you can form tables to sort out the seeds into the top 5 earners in each category for your relevant level. Make sure you adjust your list to keep it current, since circumstances change as you level up. Bear in mind that it is best to compile your own lists, since the game does get updated and the prices and values of seeds and crops can change over time.

Facebook Games: A Social Marketing Tool

If you are a regular visitor of Facebook and you just can’t stop from playing the so many different kinds of Facebook games, then why not make it a point that you earn some money while having the best of your time playing? Yes, there exists the possibility that you can earn additional income should you happen to be a Facebook gamer. The only thing you need to do is to make sure that you are not merely playing Facebook games in the site but marketing whatever product or service you may have by networking while connected to the other players.

Connecting With Fellow Gamers

The main thing here is to use the Facebook game not solely for the purpose of having fun but more especially so for connecting with the other players in Facebook. Because by doing so, it would already mean  that you are bent on building a network with your fellow Facebook game players, and of course, a perfect venue for promoting your business or products. And when you have already established a relationship with such colleagues in Facebook games, you are able to create a certain kind of trust and familiarity with them.

Never Hard Sell, Please

It would be wise to remember though that despite the familiarity and the affability you have started with them, to never make hard core selling as an option to promote your product or service. Most of the time, other business owners playing these social games have the intention to become acquainted with fellow gamers and therefore be able to market their products or services.

However, in the course of playing, they become too comfortable with their fellow gamers that sometimes, they become oblivious to the fact that maintaining a professional credibility is still valuable in making a deal. Never attempt to sell them your product or service just because your co-players have bought a fruit from your farm in Farmville!

Opportunity To Link Your Business

In fact, you will always find an opportunity to use any of the Facebook games to linking them with your business marketing. Do not just build personal associations through these Facebook games; make them deeper, up to that point of reaching a business affiliation with the gamers. That would mean a lot to your business.

Gaming Pushing Their Way To Social Networks

Truly, if you put business and Facebook games together, it will make perfect sense because more and more gaming companies are now gearing their strategies towards getting involved in these social networks. There are so many gaming accounts intended for social networks like Facebook because these business owners have already realized the value of this link between social networking and gaming.

Years from now, there will be clubs and associations put up to pool all these avid game players of Facebook or perhaps, gamers of any other social networks visible in the Internet. And when that happens, the more business owners and gamers will realize that there is something much more than just playing online with these social networks. In the same manner that the industry will anticipate and look forward to posting of accomplishments of top scorers; especially those playing Facebook games or other network site games online. And when these are posted to the social networks where you play, and of course, connect you with all the other players.

Shaman Leveling Tips

The Shaman has proven to be one of the most versatile and easiest classes in World of Warcraft to level. This is truly a one-class-does-it-all character that brings more to a raid or PvP group than most other classes. While they are great for group play, they are just as much fun if you prefer to play solo. With a few Shaman leveling tips you will fly through the lower levels, murder the mid levels and take over the top levels.

As with all lower level toons, use the first 10 levels to get familiar with your Shammy. This give you time to understand the mechanics of playing a Shaman, using your totems and most of all find out that Mana drinks will be your best friends as you will burn through mana faster than any other toon in the game. Make sure that every time you go out, you are carrying plenty of level appropriate Mana drinks. In order to do the most damage, once you hit level 10 you need to spec elemental. The other two specs use less Mana, but also deal far less damage.

Beyond choosing the right spec, your best friends are going to be your totems. As you level you are going to gather a large collection of them and need to make sure that you always use as many totems as your level will let you have out at once up to a full four. You should never go into solo combat without dropping your totems as they are for doing ranged damaged, healing and protection. You will take less damage and deal more out with your totems active.

You have weapons buffs; take the slower weapons that are far more accurate and keep the buffs on them. Slower weapons are more accurate and do more damage than the faster weapons at lower levels. Shammys burn Mana fast, you will need to carry not only plenty of Mana drinks, but try to keep plenty of Mana pots on hand.

Finally like all other classes, group your quests together to create a pattern of completing as many as possible each time you leave town. If you group them together, you are going to finish them all much faster. Stick to quests at or just below your level, you still get excellent XP and you can complete them very quickly. Higher numbers of quests completed per hour will help to level far more quickly than you would if you were to do one quest at a time.

Leveling a  new character is not easy. It takes time and care to make sure you get it just right, especially with the early levels. Learn how Dan does it month after month at www.WarcraftBlueprint.com

WoW Auction House Tips

While there are players that only use the Auction House to buy the items they need and make a little gold from time to time, the savvy player knows that the Auction House can make you rich. One thing that all players know is that it takes lots of gold to succeed. The high cost of potions, elixirs and mounts like the Mechgineer's Chopper or the Grand Mammoth means learning how to make the gold you need with as little effort as possible.

In other words, it means learning how to use the Auction House to your advantage. Here then are a few WoW Auction House tips that can help you make gold on any server:
  1. Auctioneer: This is a free download and if you don't already have it, you need to get it. You will always have access to current market prices on everything that drops and has been seen in the AH. It can help you track pricing trends and give you a better idea of what to sell for.
  2. Save Your Gold:  Getting started in using the Auction House to make money means starting small, build your wealth slowly at first buying and selling cheap items. Once you have a fat bank account you can afford to buy out the bigger items and sit on them if they don’t sell. However, you should still sell the smaller items as well, one gold or one thousand gold it doesn't matter as it all adds up.
  3. Watch the Splits: Here is one of my favorites; some of the items sell as individuals and as combined products. For example the eternals in WotLK can be broken down into 10 crystals. Essences do the same thing; before you list either of them see which is selling for more. This doesn't take long to do and at times the difference in price is significant.
  4. Pay Peter to Rob Paul: Yes, I know this sounds backwards, but it is one of the best ways to make fast gold in the Auction house. Look carefully at specific segments of the items for sale and you are going to find that there are items listed far below market value, Auctioneer can help you with this as it can show the items percentage of market value. When you find items that are being sold far too grab them and then sell for a fat profit.
These are just a few strategies that always seem to work well as a fast way to make gold using the World of Warcraft Auction House. There are others and  everyone seems to have a few of their own that work, study the markets and then just like the Stock Market learn to follow the trends, buy low and sell high. Before long you will be at the gold cap on all of your characters and be able to have all of the goodies in the game.

Dan figured out a long time ago that the auction house is the best and easiest way to make gold in World of Warcraft. Learn how he’s making his way toward the gold cap at www.HitGoldCap.com.

Facebook Games: Social Gaming On The Boom

It is undeniably true that Facebook games have captured the hearts as well as the time of so many millions of people all over the world. Yes, it has without any doubt, fast risen as a social gaming generating much business for many people. Game developers alone earn a fortune selling these virtual and online games as social games.

The Connection Between Social Networking And Gaming

While people do their social chats in the various networking sites such as Facebook, they are at the same time able to play online games should they fancy it. And the good thing about it is that they get to play while being connected and socializing with their friends and loved ones. For those who have not yet tried playing the fun and truly entertaining games in Facebook, here are just a few of the so many Facebook games you can try and definitely get addicted to playing.

YoVille Game

In this Facebook game, players may come up with their own avatars by making specially the character’s costumes and looks, and letting the characters they have assembled roam around the virtual town of YoVille. Just like other Facebook games, you may also make friends with some of the avatars you will meet while playing the game, send them messages privately or even ask them if they want to play some games with you.

Should you have a friend playing this game with you online, and you forgot to greet her on her special day, then you could just easily send her some flowers or a box of sweet delights from YoVille.

FarmVille Secrets Guide Scam?

I’m kind of addicted to Farmville – like several million other people. Like most of those, I spent the first few weeks and months that I was playing searching the internet for a Farmville walkthrough, and while most of the so called Farmville walkthroughs out there were definitely scams, there were a few guides, like the Farmville Secrets guide, that are not.

The Root of the Problem

The trouble is, when a game becomes as popular as Farmville, as quickly, everyone wants to jump on the proverbial bandwagon. Everyone who has played the game, and got anywhere, decides to write a Farmville walkthrough, and while they might know more about the game than some players, they’re certainly not experts!

Tarred With the Same Brush

The problem is, people buy these Farmville walkthroughs, usually at a low cost, and discover that you really do get what you pay for. They decide that the all Farmville walkthroughs are the same, and they vow never to buy another game guide again.

I’ve personally bought, and used, the Farmville Secrets game guide, and I can tell you, it’s so much more than a Farmville walkthrough! It’s a complete strategy guide, that covers everything you need to know in a great deal of detail.

Unlike those cheap guides and Farmville walkthroughs that have flooded the market, Farmville Secrets is the real deal, and anyone that tells you that Farmville Secrets is a scam probably hasn’t used it.

Don’t Take My Word for It

Of course, I can tell you how great Farmville Secrets is all day. You’ll probably still think it’s just another scam Farmville walkthrough. So why not try it yourself? It costs $27 to buy, but there is a 60 day money back guarantee. So there’s no risk. I don’t know of many scams that offer that sort of deal, do you?

How a Farmville Strategy Forum Can Help You

I don’t know about you, but I hate it when a game I am playing (and loving) suddenly gets complicated, and I just can’t seem to get ahead! I get frustrated, and I’m generally not a very nice person to be around! That’s exactly what happened to me with Farmville.

I started the game, and everything seemed to be going well. Then I got to level thirteen, and all of a sudden, things started going wrong. I hadn’t changed my strategy, but everything was going wrong. In my desperation to figure out the problem, I turned to a Farmville strategy forum, and here’s what I learned about how a Farmville strategy forum can help you:

  • Farmville strategy forums are all over the internet, and some are bigger and more popular, while others are quiet and virtually unused.
  • If you’re looking for help in the game, then your best bet is a Farmville strategy forum that’s busy and has a lot of traffic.
  • You’ll have to sign up and create a user account. Also know that some Farmville forums have a restriction on when you can post a new thread. So while you wait for that to happen, you will be restricted to answering questions already on the forum, and posting on existing threads.
  • Farmville strategy forums, like any other forum, are all about community. That means that if you want to get the best information, you’re going to have to be willing to part with your own Farmville tricks and tips. If you have some, that’s great, but if you’re just starting out, you might be in trouble!
  • Sometimes, really great players won’t share their top tips on Farmville strategy forums. In fact, sometimes they’ll even give you the wrong information, just for fun!
  • As a last note, you should also know that every Farmville marketer who has a poorly written guide hangs out in the Farmville forums. I found that being on Farmville strategy forums made me a target for more advertising than anything else. In fact, I’ve sign de-registered myself from most of them, just to get away from the ads!

After weeks of trying to find out what I needed to know on a Farmville strategy forum, I eventually caved, and bought what was billed as one of the top Farmville guides out there. The difference could not have been more pronounced! Instead of contradictory ideas, practical jokes, or having my questions ignored, I had a professional telling me EXACTLY what I needed to know about Farmville. It’s truly changed the game for me!

What you get out of Farmville strategy forums will depend on a variety of factors, and some people swear that they work. Maybe I’m too impatient to wait for success, but I’ve found that it’s easier, and less frustrating, to trust the professionals on this one!

Farmville Cheats for the Newcomers

If you are new to Farmville, you will probably find yourself a little overwhelmed by the complexity and surprising depth of the seemingly simple Facebook application. With over 10 million user accounts, Farmville cheats for coins, leveling up and crop planting are hot commodities – especially amongst new players.

Face it, no one wants to be at the bottom of the gaming pyramid when it comes to to MMORPG, especially when it is a free game. Being denied access to the high earning crops, large farms and vast piles of coins, can frustrate new players to the point of wanting Farmville cheats for the things they desperately need to get ahead in the game.

Luckily, the vast majority of the cheats used by new players, are actually strategic exploits, so there is very little chance of your account being banned by Zynga for using them. Concentrate on planting crops that earn you a lot of XP in the beginning stages of the game. You don't even have to worry about harvesting them, just delete the once they are planted and replant them with new seeds.

Get as many neighbors as you can and make sure you help them as much as possible to gain more XP, in between tending to your own farm.

Having lots and lots of neighbors helps you gain many ribbons. The ribbons will build up in numbers and you can earn a lot of XP from them. Earning lots of XP will help you level up a lot quicker than trying to balance out your playing buy planting cash crops. One of the good strategic legal Farmville cheats, is to only buy equipment, decorations and vehicles when you want to earn XP and special XP rewards from doing so. Immediately sell the items once you have gained the related XP. This will put cash back into your pocket, which can be used to purchase more XP, or crops that yield a high XP reward.

Familiarizing yourself with charts and tables that rank different crops according to XP and cash earning, is essential. For instance, these are the top XP earning crops, in order of greatest to lowest:
  1. Strawberries
  2. Blueberries
  3. Blackberries
  4. Aloe Vera
  5. Ghost Chili
  6. Tomatoes
  7. Sugar Cane
  8. Peas
  9. Asparagus
  10. Pumpkins

The best part about the list above, is that strawberries are available from Level 1, as a crop for XP earning. As you level up, better crops become available, so keep track of what you are planting and adjust your planting strategies accordingly. By level 20, tomatoes become available and these are great for XP farming. Take note of which crops take the shortest time to be ready for harvest and how much the initial cost is to plant them. Some crops are rather fussy and require more attention than others. Always balance out the yield in terms of XP and cash, against the time taken to grow, the initial expense and the amount of logging in required to get those crops grown and sold.

Best Farmville Strategy: Top Tips

If you’re one of the millions of people around the world who have rediscovered the joy of farming thanks to the addictive Facebook game, Farmville, then you might be wondering what the best Farmville strategy is.

It takes time to figure out how the game works, and what works for you, and what doesn’t, and if you’re like me, and you don’t like waiting, and love to win, then it can be frustrating! Fortunately, I’ve decided to share my best Farmville strategy tips for the beginner with you:

  • Berry crops mature fast, and earn a reasonable amount of money. For instance, raspberries mature in just two hours, and earn you 46 coins, while strawberries mature in four hours, and yield 35 coins. Since the best Farmville strategy for the beginner is to make as many coins as possible, as quickly as possible, it pays to plant as many berries as you can.
  • Many beginners make the mistake of buying farm animals too early on in the game. This is not the best Farmville strategy decision, as animals don’t earn much, and when you’re starting out, you need to make money fast. On the up side, when you have an established farm, animals can be a great addition, because they don’t need as much care as crops – but if you’re starting out, rather leave then alone for now!
  • Trees also take a long time to mature – some as long as five days! While they won’t wilt, and they’re not as much effort as berry and other crops, they don’t earn you quick money. As I’ve said before, the best strategy for the new Farmville player is to make as much money as possible, as fast as possible, so if you’re starting out, stay away from trees!
  • Another great Farmville strategy for the new player is to spend time helping out your neighbors. This will earn you a few extra coins, and give you experience, both of which you need to advance in the game.
  • Add neighbors as quickly as you can. The more neighbors you have, the faster you will be eligible to move onto a bigger farm. Since more land means more money, this is an important part of the best Farmville strategy. Remember that you will need eight neighbors to move to a 14 x 14 lot, and 10 to get a 16 x 16 lot, so look for friends that are playing the game, and add them!
  • If any of your friends have recently won ribbons, you can get coins from them for free – free money is a big part of the best Farmville strategy, so make sure you check your home page for updates regularly.
  • Last but not least, the best Farmville strategy for buildings – avoid them when you’re starting out! They look pretty, and help you level up faster, but the don’t give you any profits, and since the beginning of the game is all about money, you can save that for later!
These are just a few things I’ve picked up from playing the game. You’re sure to come up with your own best Farmville strategy ideas, the more you play. So for now, one of the best things you can do is play as often as you can.

Farmville: How to Protect Crops from Withering and Rotting

As any farmer worth his or her salt will tell you, your crops are only worth something if you get them to the market on time, and intact. The Facebook game Farmville is no different, and if you’ve just started playing, you may be surprised the first time you miss a harvest and lose a crop.

To help you avoid this sort of disaster, here is a short guide for Farmville: how to protect your crops from withering and rotting.

  • The first thing you need to know is that every crop has a different harvest time in Farmville. How to protect crops from withering and rotting is based on remembering how long each one takes to ripen.
  • Once your crops have reached this point, whether it’s two hours, eight hours, or longer than that, you will have the same amount of time as it takes for the crop to ripen in order to harvest it. That means that a crop that ripens in two hours has another two for harvesting, a crop that ripens in four hours another four, and a crop that ripens in ten hours will give you a further ten before you need to worry about it.
  • After the growing time, and your ‘window’ for harvesting is over, your crops will start degrading. By another 1x the growth time, you will have lost half your original crop, and by a further 1x that time, you will have lost all of your crop. That means all of the money you put into it, all the experience you would have gained, and all the time that you spent growing it. It is, without a doubt, a disaster!
  • If you’re serious about Farmville, how to protect your crops from withering and rotting should be right at the top of your list of priorities. If you’re paying money for them, then it’s imperative that you make sure that you harvest them on time, and make the maximum profit.
  • A good idea is to make a chart that you can put on the wall, or to put reminders on your email client or your cell phone, that will remind you when crops are ready to harvest. That way, you’ll never forget, and you won’t lose any money.
  • If you can’t be near your computer, or Farmville, how to protect your crops from rotting and withering is an even bigger question. If you have someone you trust, you could ask them to log in and harvest them for you, or if you know you won’t be playing for a while, you might choose not to plant crops. Either way, make sure you have a contingency plan!
Farmville is all about balancing costs with profits, and there are plenty of little tips and tricks on how you can best do that in Farmville. How to protect crops is just one of the things you need to figure out when you play this game, and if you want to really make it in Farmville, you’re going to have to learn fast!

My advice, if you’re struggling with general things to do with Farmville, how to protect crops or anything else, is to get your hands on a good guide to the game, and use the secret tips included in it to improve your farm. It makes having a profitable farm easier than ever, and helps you to eliminate mistakes, which saves you money.

An In Depth Review of the Farmville Guide Market

The other day, I was looking at the number of Farmville guides out there, and I started to notice something

That is, that all of the best Farmville guides, like Farmville Secrets, Millionaire Farmer Guide, Farmville Wizard and Farmville Expert have a few things in common. These are:

  • All of them are written by actual gamers, who have actually mastered the game themselves.
  • All of them give you in depth, secret information to help you level up faster, and not spend money on the game.
  • All of them focus on legal tricks and tips, so that your account doesn’t get banned, and
  • All of them are regularly updated to keep up with the latest trends and changes to the game.

That’s really what sets the best Farmville guides apart from the rest of them. They’re in depth, they’re usually easy to use, and they focus on things that won’t get your account banned like cheats and hacks would.

How to Choose One?

Of course, having several great Farmville guides on the market makes it tougher to choose the best of the bunch, so I did a little checking on other aspects of the guides.

Most of them cost around the same, and most offer a money back guarantee. All good Farmville guides, in fact, will come with a money back guarantee! If the guide you’re looking at doesn’t, don’t buy it, because it’s probably not all it’s cracked up to be.

The only thing that really sets them apart is the ease of use, the quality of the information, and the amount of help it offers, and personally, I found that Farmville Secrets is a clear winner in that department. So far, it’s the best Farmville guide that I have found, all round, and if you’re looking to buy a guide, I’d recommend that it’s your first choice.
